Role Summary:

The Workforce Management Director – Business Delivery, Transition and Operations role will be leading a team focused on the support of GE’s workforce management products, business integration/utilization and standardizing the Time and Attendance landscape for the company. Performing in this role means defining and managing the relationship with all existing workforce management platforms, business partners, global operations, and key suppliers across the company.

Essential Responsibilities:

As a member of the GE Workforce Management COE, you will be responsible for leading & building a team to support operational excellence, transition strategies, and simplification efforts supporting 150K+ employees and growing across GE.

  • Set standards, simplification, and transition roadmap strategy for GE T&A landscape

  • Define and manage Business CIO landscape, framework, cost strategy, standards and portfolio

  • Lead large acquisition programs related to time and attendance and integrate into transition roadmap

  • Lead the day to day workforce management technical operations, case management, and overall product health

  • Drive ticket reduction and problem management strategy aligned to set targets. Deliver continuous improvement processes

  • Deliver proactive business operational reviews, clear KPI & visual measures aligned to business needs

  • Drive critical first time right processes & operations to support on time payroll and other Global Operation downstream dependencies

  • Assess cloud strategy and other environment changes to drive cost out, simplification, or design improvements.

  • Partner with horizontal digital technology/EFP teams and core suppliers to drive issue resolution, stable operations, integration delivery, and meeting core tech standards for best design

  • Drive adoption of WFM Products created by WFM Product Team and alignment to right business needs

  • Partner on product pricing and determine all financial components of offerings driving set cost and productivity reduction targets

  • Maintains operation management staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

  • Partner with Product Manager to drive new operating model for transition of NPI or new product changes into operations and existing biz portfolios

  • Support VP of Technical Product Management - Employee Services in alignment of set priorities, product management standards, and operating methods Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications

  • Overall Minimum 7 years of IT team management experience at GE

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Sciences or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience running/managing operations for large programs and/or platforms

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience managing large scale enterprise applications supporting diverse populationsEligibility Requirements
