About the Team

The DevOps team develops, enhances, and maintains the tools that allow our cloud Services to deploy and maintain a worldwide Infrastructure-as-a-Service offering with a relatively small team of people. All custom software, interfaces, and some basic system/OS administration is handled by the DevOps team.


First responsibility is to understand the entire platform. Optimization and automation require an in-depth knowledge across multiple departments. DevOps is the glue that will help all department work better together.

Once that understanding is firmly in place, the DevOps Engineer is responsible to design, create, and maintain tools to:

  • Automate everything

  • Report on process and quality metrics

  • Provide customers with metrics, alerts, and billing information

  • Measure and provide telemetry on storage, network, and virtualization platforms

  • Optimize all systems

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum two years DevOps experience

  • Two years experience with Perl, PHP, or Python

  • Two years experience with RDBMS (MySQL a plus), including modeling and tuning

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
