Dell Software Senior Engineer - in Bedford, Massachusetts
Responsible for the root cause analysis, development, and testing of product issues identified by customers with Archer GA product versions. Applies Agile Kanban process for the prioritization and management of customer issues. Works across constituent teams – Customer Support, Services, Product Management, Documentation – to drive the quality and adoption of the product in the field. Customer facing experience and an understood sense of urgency in applying continuous engineering to constantly improve the customer experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise in software development tools, techniques, and best practices
Process and thought leader constantly driving the team to innovate and excel
Work independently to drive issue remediation for critical customer escalations
Work across functional and geographically distributed teams seamlessly
Assess, diagnose, prioritize and resolve critical customer issues meeting defined SLAs.
Function in a high performance, customer driven environment by utilizing time management and prioritization skills.
Apply agile scrum and Kanban practices for continuous engineering
Highly productive and agile individual contributor
The Go To subject matter expert for specific functional and technical areas of the product..
Broad product/technical/industry knowledge
Archer GRC experience
Strong background in multi-tiered enterprise applications
Ability to juggle multiple priorities to achieve deadlines
Strong communication and facilitation skills
