Job Highlights The MITRE Corporation is seeking a summer technical intern with an interest in signal processing, modeling, and data analysis to work in the Sensor Systems and Battle Management Command & Control (BMC2) department. Successful candidates will assist senior staff with a variety of sensor system modeling and data analysis tasks.

Key Functions

You will work as a part of small teams, under the guidance of experienced senior staff, performing modeling and analysis tasks in the areas of sensor technology and sensor application. Analysis efforts addressed by the department include describing algorithm and sensor system performance as a function of sensor data quality and signal and noise phenomenology, characterizing system performance in order to clarify capabilities, identifying and addressing areas for improvement in sensor data processing, and the investigation of multi-sensor approaches to data fusion and system-of-systems collaboration and exploitation. Work supports the United States Department of Defense (DoD) activities in the areas of design, acquisition, and application of sensor technologies.

Required Skills:

Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.

Minimum Education/ Experience Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
