Raytheon Technical Training Team Lead in Andover, Massachusetts
Raytheon IDS has an opportunity in our Center for Continuous Learning (CCL) for a training specialist responsible for organizing and conducting classes in J-STD Solder and Inspection, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Foreign Object Elimination (FOE), Moisture Sensitive Devices (MSD), wiring, solder rework, and various other courses. In addition to training responsibilities, would be responsible for recording training completions in the Learning Management System, running training reports, and providing training data to supervisors and other support members, when necessary. Training is typically conducted within the Andover facility, although local travel is required as needed. Required Skills: Minimum of 2 years relevant experience Current or prior solder criteria certification Ability to understand and comply to all applicable Policies & Procedures, through both teaching and individual performance Ability to obtain CIT certification for the J-STD-001, IPC 610 and IPC 620. Ability to train small and large groups in both hands on and lecture material Ability to evaluate new hire and upgraded employees during training process Ability to work in a team based environment Average/Moderate computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point) Desired Skills: Current or prior CIT Certification for J-STD-001 and/or IPC 610 Current or prior MIT Certification for J-STD-001 and/or IPC 610 Ability to obtain CIT Certification in IPC 600 Advanced computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Project, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Visio) Current or prior manufacturing/production experience Hands-on knowledge of production Circuit Card Assembly and Sub-Assembly processes Required Education (including Major): Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and experience. 104015
