Raytheon Supply Chain Planning Manager in Andover, Massachusetts

The Supply Chain Planning Manager is a key leadership position that is responsible to lead the entire planning process utilizing integrated demand planning to determine the production build. As the Supply Chain Planning Manager , you’ll work closely with Operations, Production Control, Finance, Program Management and other Supply Chain functions to ensure an executable plan is in place with the Factory and our Suppliers that aligns with the Financial Business Plan, Capacity, and Material Availability while achieving Contract deliverables. Day to day responsibilities for the Production Planning Manager will include: · Lead the entire planning process utilizing an integrated demand planning to determine the production build · Manage the Planning team to deliver an executable schedule that meets contact deliverables · Responsible for the department budget. · Develop and implement planning KPIs and reporting requirements. · Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of ERP/MRP (SAP) · Responsible for the ongoing optimization of the planning process · Responsible for the skill set and talent requirements/development of planners necessary to create executable plans and the ability to influence buy-in to meet schedules. Required Skills: · 10+ Years of Supply Chain experience in a Manufacturing environment · Experience with overall supply chain and capacity planning and production scheduling · Proficient with ERP/ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) · Experience in program management, project management and/or work with cross functional teams · Demonstrated leadership ability to drive continuous improvement Desired Skills: · Experience using planning and scheduling simulation tools · Understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) Financial reporting · Proficient in risk and constraint mitigation including providing strategic MRP solutions to ensure executable plan · Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment to achieve common goals · Ability influence without authority at all levels within the organization. · Highly skilled on Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project) · APICS CSCP or equivalent required (must achieve within first 12 months) · Experience in improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree About Raytheon Raytheon Company is a global technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, government and cybersecurity markets throughout the world.
